Running ESP left of the operating range vs frequency

Hi all.

. Asking experienced people. ESP operating-range limits are clear to everyone. When you change frequency from the VSD (running a permanent magnet motor), do those limits shift the same way?

I.e. an ESP 125 has an operating range of about 95-155 m3/d at nameplate 2910 rpm. At 2350 rpm, does that range shift lower? Assuming the ESP still runs normally.

Приветствую коллеги. Прошу дать ответ опытных компетентных людей. Есть границы рабочих диапазонов уэцн, эта вещь понятна всем без исключения. При изменении частоты с СУ (работая на вентильном двигателе) смещаются ли эти границы в соответствующую сторону? То есть эцн 125 имеет рабочий диапазон примерно 95-155м3 на номинальной частоте 2910 об/мин (по паспорту). При работе на частоте 2350 сдвинется ли этот диапазон в меньшую сторону? Учитывая нормальную работоспособность уэцн

Yes, they shift - request those curves from the equipment OEM (supplier). Examples for Novomet ESP 200 on 150 stages; unit head also changes.

At 40 Hz, 50 Hz, and 60 Hz - see attached curves.

Да, смещаются, запрашивайте эти характеристики у производителя (поставщика) оборудования, вот примеры для Новомета ЭЦН 200 на 150 ступеней, так же меняется и напор установки:

Effect of speed on ESP performance (see attachment).

n1, Q1, H1, bhp1 = catalog data at n1
n1 is usually taken as 2910 rpm for Russian pumps.
Plug in n2 and you get the scaled data...
Same applies when recalculating the operating window.

n1, Q1, H1, bhp1=каталожные данные при n1
n1 обычно принимают 2910 оборотов, для российских насосов
Подставляете n2, получаете данные...
Так же это относится и к пересчету рабочей зоны.

Instead of n (rpm), for simple calc you can take F (frequency). And for clarity move the denominator to the right side. At least that is how I think of it :)

Вместо n оборотов, для простоты расчета можно принять F, частоту. И для понмания формулы знаменатель дроби вынести в правую часть. По крайней мере я так думаю :)

I took rpm out of habit, as in ESP test software......

You are thinking right - at over-frequency the range shifts right; at under-frequency, left.
Example: Novomet VNN5-125
50 Hz 80-160 m3/d
60 Hz 96-193 m3/d
40 Hz 64-129 m3/d.
If needed I can send the Novomet Calculator - handy. OEM ranges are roughly similar.

Правильно думаешь, при УВЧ диапазон смещается вправо, при УМЧ - влево.
Пример: ВНН5-125(Новомет)
50Гц 80-160м3/сут
60Гц 96-193м3/сут
40Гц 64-129 м3/сут.
Если надо, могу выслать Новвомет Калькулятор, удобная штука. Примерно у производителей диапазоны примерно одинаковые
