Threaded connection requirements for ESP assembly

Post by ALEngineer »

Threaded connection torque for ESP installation.

Per TU 26-06-1486-87, nut / bolt / stud torque on ESP joints is shown on the attached scans (flange hardware, then plugs, valves, and cable-protector bolts).

Tighten nuts on opposite sides of the flange in turn so the joint pulls up evenly. Use a torque wrench 0 to 7.5 kgf*m.
