The MC2 Oil Charging Pump is designed for oil filling and pressure testing of ESP motors and seal sections (protectors) using dielectric oil.
MC2 Oil Charging Pump Components:
- Reservoir (Tank);
- Piston Pump;
- Hose;
- Connection Fitting (Nipple);
- Filler Neck (Inlet).
The oil charging pump consists of a 20-liter (~5-gallon) reservoir (fuel canister)
(1), which houses an integrated manual piston pump
(2). The hand pump displaces oil through the hose
(3) and the connection fitting
(4) into the motor being serviced. Oil is filled into the reservoir through the filler neck
(5).
The MC2 oil charging pump may include a pressure test nipple equipped with a pressure gauge.
The pressure test nipple with gauge is designed to monitor oil pressure in the motor and seal section. It is used to verify the integrity of section connections, cable connections, and seal-to-motor connections during the wellsite installation process.
