How to change Elekton SIU setpoints

- Connect a laptop to TMSN-3 SIU (surface interface unit, TMS)
- Run TMCN_Control_v.2.302 Pro.exe
- Open the "setpoints" tab and click the circular-arrow button (left column) to read setpoints.

Change 0x111 "sync-pulse amplitude detection threshold" - default 30; you can lower to 25 or 20.

- Find the row "sync-pulse amplitude detection threshold" (often row 18):
- Enter 25 or 20 in the right column and tick the checkbox.

If within a couple of minutes with the ESP motor stopped there are still no readings, change 0x110 "half amplitude window range" - default 12; you can raise to 14 or 16.

- That setpoint is usually row 17:
- Enter 14 or 16 in the right column and tick the checkbox.

2.4.3 When using port "1 RS-232" to connect a PC to the SIU (TMS), use interconnect cable No. 1 TsTKD 083.01-02 made by Elekton. Figure 1 shows the pinout of cable No. 1 for the PC connection.

Check SIU output data and data to the controller or other devices. In the SIU, check and adjust analog output voltage ranges (10 V, 4 V) to match the VSD analog inputs. Check and correct other downhole monitoring system (TMS) setpoints. Read the internal history. Correct the internal clock (with Elekton-series VSDs the SIU clock syncs to the controller automatically).

ATTENTION: TMSN-3 SIUs are interchangeable. They work with TMSP-3 and TMSP-2 downhole sensors (TMS). They are not designed to work with TMSP-1.

2.4.4 Pump-unit protection from downhole parameters: data update is typically 40 to 55 s. Factory setting for continuous insulation-resistance (Riso) measurement time is 20 s. Set protection trip delays and AR delays to not less than 1 minute.

2.4.5 The downhole monitoring system (TMS) is powered off together with the VSD automation.

• Подключить ноутбук к ТМСН-3

• запустить программу TMCN_Control_v.2.302 Pro.exe

• выбрать вкладку «уставки», и щелкнуть кнопку с круговой стрелкой (левый столбец) для считывания уставок.
изменить 0x111 "порог обнаружения амплитуды синхроимпульса" - задано 30, можно уменьшить - 25, 20.
• ищем строчку с уставкой «порог обнаружения амплитуды синхроимпульса (это может быть строчка №18):
• на правом столбце вводим 25 или 20, и рядом ставим галочку;
