Downhole cable rejection criteria for conductor-to-insulation adhesion

Post by Sheppard »

Good day, guys.

Does anyone have info on cable rejection during inspection? Specifically, are there reject criteria for missing adhesion between the conductor and the insulation? In other words, how much bond between the insulation surface and the conductor surface is still allowed when you scrap a cable?

Here are the cable requirements from ETT-6 (Unified Technical Requirements). I do not have the process procedure.
